I want to break you
like the gingerbread man’s head.
Snap.
The frisky crispiness
sounds like a victory,
so I’m clapping high fives
to myself,
knowing that it’s the only way
anyone will be proud of me.
I ask you to do things
that make my eyes roll back
and my toes curl up,
but you look so stunned
and just stare at me.
Stop stopping, I say.
You and me –
we have no time
for idle moments
like this.
– Chatty Owl –
Just wonderful. I hope you’re well.
I’m ok.. just waiting for some winds of change 🙂
Ahhh! You Sweet Precious Trophy! Don’t you know a great mind will realize your brilliance. That is how I know your day will come! “The only way someone will be proud of me”. It makes me tear up! Wrong! Absolutely Wrong! But super honest and intimate.and a very personal view inside. Thanks so much for putting down in the words that only you can! Wow! claudy

Its nice to see someone related to it! 🙂

I love this window into your life, owl, you so generously provide us. If you want me to give him a pep talk about taking control, let me know. 😉
Pressure to perform! Great piece Miss Owl. Though I expect no less from you. 😉

Oh, snap. 😉 lol. It’s a saying we have here, although a really old one. Adore the intro, love the end.
I don’t think I ever heard “stop stopping.” Was usually “stop going.”
You know what they say about idle hands 😉 so it’s probably best to just keep on keeping on and make those eyes roll and those toes curl, and btw, I’m proud of you sweet girl! 😉
I like the Title – not sure how to interpret this one, but I won’t get all D & M on you and I shall take it for what it is – to me. High 5’s to you lovely. x
brings a little more that a smile to my face. . .
Oh really? I hope in a good way, or am I being too optimistic here?

Couldn’t help but remember scene from “Shreck I” movie 🙂
Really?! Which scene? Or the movie overall? 🙂
