CORNY IS THE WORD

Dry lips
shield my wet warm mouth
from kissing.
I wrap strings of my hair
around fingers
as
I watch your thoughts dreaming
about
my legs
wrapped around your neck
instead.
We don’t talk
and you can’t hear my whispers,
but we both know
that I’ll be sitting on your
face
tonight
and at your breakfast table
tomorrow.

  1. Chatty…this a greatly sensual poem. Fantastic and warm. Wanting. Passionate. Beautiful with reality. There is no single line that I can like more. Each feeds off each other…like the people in the poem! πŸ˜‰

    1. Thank you darling! Such a wonderful compliment, coming from you! Sometimes the poems that I never thought would evoke anything, become the most popular ones! Very pleasant surprise πŸ™‚

    1. Hey John! Thanks so much, really flattered you would think about me. The thing is, I stopped doing these awards, unfortunately Im always pressed with time and there are so many coming my way usually… But Im absolutely floored that you would think of me.

    Happy now? πŸ˜‰

    1. Oh no! But that explains mouse’s recent posts and light shining above the fur!
